WHO IS THIS SERVICE FOR?
Anyone who wants to create a space they love! E-design is a quick and fun way to get the look you want for a flat design fee. It's perfect for:
- Someone who is furnishing a new house and doesn't know where to start
- A person who is ready to give a room a refresh, but you're on a shoestring budget and want to make your dollars go as far as possible
- Someone who is making a cross-country move who wants to start over with new pieces in his or her new place
- A young professional moving into his or her first place and wants to "graduate" from hand-me-pieces from his or her college days
- Building a home and are overwhelmed by having to choose all the finishes, fixtures and furniture (so many decisions!)
The great part about our e-design package is that not only will you receive your designs digitally, but we will also send you via USPS a design box, so you'll be able to touch & feel the some of the suggested materials that are on your design boards. Once you have your shopping list in hand, you're free to do with it what you will. You can go online and buy everything at once or use it as a jumping off point and go find similar pieces yourself. It's up to you!
WHAT KIND OF BUDGETS DO YOU WORK WITH?
All of 'em! We firmly believe that beautiful spaces don't have to cost a ton. We will let you know what you can expect to get within your budget. And we'll stick to the budget you give us and do our best to maximize it.
ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN FEES OR HOURLY CHARGES?
Nope. The cost remains the same no matter your budget. There are no surprise fees or hourly charges.
WILL YOU COME TO MY HOUSE AND SET EVERYTHING UP FOR ME?
We do not offer installation, assembly, or set up services. Our e-design packages give you the plan, and you can implement it as time and budget allows. Lots of folks will hire a third party to assemble and move furniture for them though. Hiring someone on an hourly basis through a service such as Thumbtack (no affiliation with SFD) is one way to do it! If you're in the Houston area, we are happy to offer recommendations for handymen and movers.
HOW DOES YOUR “SELECTIONS ONLY” PACKAGE WORK?
We have an expertise in pulling together all of the materials and fixtures for your new bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, etc. For example, for a kitchen project, we can choose your paint, flooring, tile backsplash, countertops, cabinet style & hardware, faucet, etc. We will specify materials from regional or nationwide stores so you or your contractor can order direct. If your contractor only works with specific brands, let me know and I can work through those brands.
The Selections Only Package includes a Design Board and Shopping List. We understand how many complicated factors go into designing a space, this package does not include the floor plan or drawings of the space. This package works perfectly if you are doing a DIY project or working with a contractor who leaves the responsibility of product selections up to you. Please note, you or your contractor bear full responsibility for ultimately selecting the proper products, including sizes and quantity, that work for your specific space.
WHAT IF I WANT TO WORK WITH SOUTHERN FARMHOUSE DESIGNS , BUT MY NEEDS DON'T FIT THE CURRENT SERVICE OFFERINGS?

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND ONCE I SUBMIT ALL MY MATERIALS AND PAYMENTS? DO YOU ISSUE REFUNDS?
I am sorry, we do not issue refunds once payment is received. However, within 24 hours of receiving payment, if you would like to change rooms or use your payment towards a gift card, we are happy to accommodate your request.
